Question 1

What does a non-repairable mean for this BUICK ENCORE GX?

Accepted Answer

This 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 2

How far is this BUICK ENCORE GX from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - CICERO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

This BUICK ENCORE GX has front & rear and right rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 71,502 miles high for a 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX listings at auction averaged 59,185 miles across 404 sales, so at 71,502 miles this one sits 21% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front & rear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2020 BUICK ENCORE GX was listed at IAAI as lot 45674213 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
