Question 1

What do hail 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 44 recorded sales of the 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE with hail damage, the median was $4,350, from $3,125 to $6,300. That is 14% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does a ab-active-alberta mean for this BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE was sold on a ab-active-alberta. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 94,886 miles high for a 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE listings at auction averaged 85,440 miles across 292 sales, so at 94,886 miles this one sits 11% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This BUICK ENCLAVE has hail and all over damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Did this 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
