Question 1

What do hail 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 44 recorded sales of the 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE with hail damage, the median was $4,350, from $3,125 to $6,300. That is 14% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,525 a good price for this 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

292 comparable 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,800, spanning $3,100 to $5,600. At $4,525 this one went 19% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This BUICK ENCLAVE has hail and rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this BUICK ENCLAVE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in KS - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 65,345 miles high for a 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE listings at auction averaged 85,440 miles across 292 sales, so at 65,345 miles this one sits 24% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
