Question 1

Was $5,250 a good price for this 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

132 comparable 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE listings sold at auction for a median of $3,550, spanning $3,050 to $5,400. At $5,250 this one went 48% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This BUICK ENCLAVE sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 78,780 miles high for a 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE listings at auction averaged 93,937 miles across 132 sales, so at 78,780 miles this one sits 16% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE was listed at IAAI as lot 46027403 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
