Question 1

Was $8,675 a good price for this 2019 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

646 comparable 2019 BUICK ENCLAVE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,250 to $7,200. At $8,675 this one went 95% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 BUICK ENCLAVE was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this BUICK ENCLAVE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in VA - BRANDYWINE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Norfolk, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 BUICK ENCLAVE. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 104,755 miles high for a 2019 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 BUICK ENCLAVE listings at auction averaged 90,133 miles across 646 sales, so at 104,755 miles this one sits 16% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 BUICK ENCLAVE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with normal wear & tear damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
