Question 1

What do rear 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE with rear damage, the median was $4,600, from $3,550 to $7,100. That is 10% above the $4,200 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,900 a good price for this 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

609 comparable 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE listings sold at auction for a median of $4,200, spanning $3,250 to $6,600. At $8,900 this one went 112% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 42,417 miles high for a 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE listings at auction averaged 97,059 miles across 609 sales, so at 42,417 miles this one sits 56% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

How far is this BUICK ENCLAVE from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MO - KANSAS CITY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 780 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $500-$750, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 BUICK ENCLAVE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
