Question 1

What do rear end 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 32 recorded sales of the 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE with rear end damage, the median was $3,900, from $3,150 to $4,650. That is 3% above the $3,800 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 87,863 miles high for a 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE listings at auction averaged 85,465 miles across 287 sales, so at 87,863 miles this one sits 3% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this BUICK ENCLAVE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in ON - LONDON. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN 5GAKVCKD2HJ170301?

Accepted Answer

5GAKVCKD2HJ170301 identifies this specific 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE in black with a 3.6l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2017 BUICK ENCLAVE come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with rear end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
