Question 1

What do rear end 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE with rear end damage, the median was $3,725, from $3,050 to $5,100. That is 5% above the $3,550 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

Is 159,317 miles high for a 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE listings at auction averaged 94,003 miles across 133 sales, so at 159,317 miles this one sits 69% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Where was this BUICK ENCLAVE located?

Accepted Answer

The lot was held at COPART in HI - KAPOLEI. Location sets the inland transport cost to a port or a repair shop, and state title rules differ, so two otherwise identical cars can be worth noticeably different amounts.

Question 5

Who sold this 2016 BUICK ENCLAVE?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was USAA. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
