Question 1

Was $5,500 a good price for this 2014 AUDI SQ5?

Accepted Answer

12 comparable 2014 AUDI SQ5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,500, spanning $4,050 to $6,100. At $5,500 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI SQ5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2014 AUDI SQ5's pre-damage retail value at $15,938. It sold for $5,500 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a cert of title - salvage mean for this AUDI SQ5?

Accepted Answer

This 2014 AUDI SQ5 was sold on a cert of title - salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI SQ5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AZ - PHOENIX. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 380 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $325-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2014 AUDI SQ5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 118,495 miles high for a 2014 AUDI SQ5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2014 AUDI SQ5 listings at auction averaged 108,917 miles across 12 sales, so at 118,495 miles this one sits 9% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
