Question 1

Was $4,850 a good price for this 2017 AUDI SQ5?

Accepted Answer

54 comparable 2017 AUDI SQ5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,950, spanning $3,350 to $8,600. At $4,850 this one went 18% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this AUDI SQ5?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI SQ5 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI SQ5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in WI - PORTAGE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI SQ5. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 127,950 miles high for a 2017 AUDI SQ5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI SQ5 listings at auction averaged 95,426 miles across 54 sales, so at 127,950 miles this one sits 34% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Who sold this 2017 AUDI SQ5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
