Question 1

Was $12,400 a good price for this 2017 AUDI S7?

Accepted Answer

53 comparable 2017 AUDI S7 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,275, spanning $4,250 to $15,125. At $12,400 this one went 34% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI S7 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI S7's pre-damage retail value at $35,090. It sold for $12,400 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage title mean for this AUDI S7?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI S7 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI S7. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

This AUDI S7 has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 107,224 miles high for a 2017 AUDI S7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI S7 listings at auction averaged 80,994 miles across 53 sales, so at 107,224 miles this one sits 32% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
