Question 1

What do front end 2016 AUDI S6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 31 recorded sales of the 2016 AUDI S6 with front end damage, the median was $6,700, from $3,550 to $9,500. That is 2% above the $6,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,900 a good price for this 2016 AUDI S6?

Accepted Answer

69 comparable 2016 AUDI S6 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,600, spanning $3,650 to $10,000. At $3,900 this one went 41% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This AUDI S6 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI S6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 AUDI S6's pre-damage retail value at $23,034. It sold for $3,900 — 83% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 5

Is 136,226 miles high for a 2016 AUDI S6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI S6 listings at auction averaged 100,776 miles across 69 sales, so at 136,226 miles this one sits 35% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this AUDI S6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - GRAND PRAIRIE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
