Question 1

What do front end 2017 AUDI S6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 26 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI S6 with front end damage, the median was $6,500, from $4,000 to $11,250. That is 13% below the $7,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,900 a good price for this 2017 AUDI S6?

Accepted Answer

47 comparable 2017 AUDI S6 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,450, spanning $3,600 to $12,600. At $9,900 this one went 33% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this AUDI S6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI S6 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI S6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NY - BUFFALO. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI S6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 71,068 miles high for a 2017 AUDI S6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI S6 listings at auction averaged 86,983 miles across 47 sales, so at 71,068 miles this one sits 18% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
