Question 1

What does a salvage title mean for this AUDI S5?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI S5 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

How far is this AUDI S5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in FL - JACKSONVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Jacksonville, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

Is 144,389 miles high for a 2017 AUDI S5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI S5 listings at auction averaged 72,326 miles across 13 sales, so at 144,389 miles this one sits 100% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2017 AUDI S5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN WAUC4AFR0HA000628?

Accepted Answer

WAUC4AFR0HA000628 identifies this specific 2017 AUDI S5 in black with a 3.0l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2017 AUDI S5 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2017 AUDI S5 was listed at COPART as lot 51272976 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
