Question 1

What do mechanical 2018 AUDI Q7 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 87 recorded sales of the 2018 AUDI Q7 with mechanical damage, the median was $7,700, from $4,600 to $12,400. That is 4% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $17,700 a good price for this 2018 AUDI Q7?

Accepted Answer

1839 comparable 2018 AUDI Q7 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,650 to $13,300. At $17,700 this one went 121% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI Q7 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 AUDI Q7's pre-damage retail value at $33,625. It sold for $17,700 — 47% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI Q7 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - NEW ORLEANS. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 90,725 miles high for a 2018 AUDI Q7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI Q7 listings at auction averaged 99,885 miles across 1839 sales, so at 90,725 miles this one sits 9% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 AUDI Q7. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
