Question 1

Was $4,650 a good price for this 2012 AUDI Q7?

Accepted Answer

16 comparable 2012 AUDI Q7 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,700, spanning $4,150 to $7,000. At $4,650 this one went 1% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI Q7 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2012 AUDI Q7's pre-damage retail value at $13,288. It sold for $4,650 — 65% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2012 AUDI Q7. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

This AUDI Q7 has front end and undercarriage damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

Is 200,472 miles high for a 2012 AUDI Q7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2012 AUDI Q7 listings at auction averaged 135,905 miles across 16 sales, so at 200,472 miles this one sits 48% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2012 AUDI Q7 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
