Question 1

Was $13,500 a good price for this 2020 AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

1083 comparable 2020 AUDI Q5 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,000, spanning $5,150 to $13,900. At $13,500 this one went 50% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This AUDI Q5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI Q5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 AUDI Q5's pre-damage retail value at $25,859. It sold for $13,500 — 48% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "ENGINE START PROGRAM" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE START PROGRAM is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 AUDI Q5. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this AUDI Q5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CA - MARTINEZ. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 50,369 miles high for a 2020 AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 AUDI Q5 listings at auction averaged 63,976 miles across 1083 sales, so at 50,369 miles this one sits 21% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
