Question 1

Was $4,975 a good price for this 2016 AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

1317 comparable 2016 AUDI Q5 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,250, spanning $3,225 to $6,400. At $4,975 this one went 17% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI Q5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 AUDI Q5's pre-damage retail value at $11,717. It sold for $4,975 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does "Run & Drive" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Run & Drive is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 AUDI Q5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 147,737 miles high for a 2016 AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI Q5 listings at auction averaged 96,987 miles across 1317 sales, so at 147,737 miles this one sits 52% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 AUDI Q5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with left front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

Who sold this 2016 AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was Erie Insurance Group. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.
