Question 1

What do front end 2018 AUDI Q5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 1574 recorded sales of the 2018 AUDI Q5 with front end damage, the median was $7,400, from $4,350 to $10,900. That is 4% below the $7,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,250 a good price for this 2018 AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

3548 comparable 2018 AUDI Q5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,700, spanning $4,600 to $11,200. At $3,250 this one went 58% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 AUDI Q5 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 120,724 miles high for a 2018 AUDI Q5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI Q5 listings at auction averaged 87,097 miles across 3548 sales, so at 120,724 miles this one sits 39% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 AUDI Q5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

How far is this AUDI Q5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in NC - CASTLE HAYNE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Charleston, roughly 280 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$325, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
