Question 1

What do front end 2017 AUDI A8 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 71 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A8 with front end damage, the median was $5,500, from $3,700 to $8,200. That is 6% below the $5,850 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,700 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A8?

Accepted Answer

147 comparable 2017 AUDI A8 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,850, spanning $3,750 to $9,300. At $7,700 this one went 32% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A8 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI A8's pre-damage retail value at $25,456. It sold for $7,700 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI A8 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - NEW ORLEANS. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 73,361 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A8?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A8 listings at auction averaged 98,855 miles across 147 sales, so at 73,361 miles this one sits 26% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI A8. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.
