Question 1

What do front end 2017 AUDI A8 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 70 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A8 with front end damage, the median was $5,700, from $3,700 to $8,700. That is 4% below the $5,938 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A8?

Accepted Answer

147 comparable 2017 AUDI A8 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,938, spanning $3,750 to $9,300. At $7,200 this one went 21% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI A8. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 106,746 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A8?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A8 listings at auction averaged 98,506 miles across 147 sales, so at 106,746 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Who sold this 2017 AUDI A8?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was STATE FARM INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Did this 2017 AUDI A8 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front end damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
