Question 1

What do mechanical 2016 AUDI A7 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 10 recorded sales of the 2016 AUDI A7 with mechanical damage, the median was $4,900, from $3,100 to $6,300. That is 8% below the $5,300 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,200 a good price for this 2016 AUDI A7?

Accepted Answer

296 comparable 2016 AUDI A7 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,300 to $9,100. At $7,200 this one went 36% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A7 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 AUDI A7's pre-damage retail value at $19,744. It sold for $7,200 — 64% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This AUDI A7 has mechanical and hail damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

How far is this AUDI A7 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in TX - WILMER. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 88,248 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A7 listings at auction averaged 106,553 miles across 296 sales, so at 88,248 miles this one sits 17% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
