Question 1

Was $4,175 a good price for this 2016 AUDI A7?

Accepted Answer

299 comparable 2016 AUDI A7 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,300, spanning $3,300 to $9,100. At $4,175 this one went 21% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

This AUDI A7 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a greater than 75%-md mean for this AUDI A7?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 AUDI A7 was sold on a greater than 75%-md. The title type is the auction's own classification and determines what can legally be done with the vehicle afterwards.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI A7 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in MD - DUNDALK. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

This AUDI A7 has theft and front & rear damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 82,647 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A7 listings at auction averaged 106,814 miles across 299 sales, so at 82,647 miles this one sits 23% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
