Question 1

This AUDI A7 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 2

What does a clear mean for this AUDI A7?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 AUDI A7 was sold on a clear. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI A7 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in TX - JUSTIN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Houston, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 AUDI A7. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 128,404 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A7?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A7 listings at auction averaged 106,791 miles across 310 sales, so at 128,404 miles this one sits 20% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WAU2GAFC1GN003172?

Accepted Answer

WAU2GAFC1GN003172 identifies this specific 2016 AUDI A7 in black with a 3.0l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, supercharger, 333hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
