Question 1

What do rear end 2017 AUDI A6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 49 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A6 with rear end damage, the median was $5,150, from $3,700 to $7,300. That is 3% above the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $4,800 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

431 comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $7,700. At $4,800 this one went 4% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI A6's pre-damage retail value at $15,079. It sold for $4,800 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a clean title mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A6 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 5

This AUDI A6 has rear end and side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 161,468 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 93,969 miles across 431 sales, so at 161,468 miles this one sits 72% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
