Question 1

What do front end 2017 AUDI A6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 208 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A6 with front end damage, the median was $4,800, from $3,300 to $7,200. That is 4% below the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $11,200 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

435 comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $7,750. At $11,200 this one went 124% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI A6's pre-damage retail value at $23,292. It sold for $11,200 — 52% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

Is 110,165 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 94,169 miles across 435 sales, so at 110,165 miles this one sits 17% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does a salvage title mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A6 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 6

This AUDI A6 has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
