Question 1

What do side 2016 AUDI A6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 46 recorded sales of the 2016 AUDI A6 with side damage, the median was $4,500, from $3,250 to $6,300. That is 1% above the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $5,200 a good price for this 2016 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

685 comparable 2016 AUDI A6 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,250 to $6,900. At $5,200 this one went 17% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2016 AUDI A6's pre-damage retail value at $15,208. It sold for $5,200 — 66% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 AUDI A6 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

This AUDI A6 has side and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

Is 76,359 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 100,875 miles across 685 sales, so at 76,359 miles this one sits 24% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
