Question 1

How far is this AUDI A6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WI - MCFARLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 2

What does "ENGINE STARTS" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE STARTS is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 AUDI A6. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 3

This AUDI A6 has hail and front end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 4

Is 103,120 miles high for a 2018 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 84,124 miles across 462 sales, so at 103,120 miles this one sits 23% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN WAUG8AFC9JN042232?

Accepted Answer

WAUG8AFC9JN042232 identifies this specific 2018 AUDI A6 in black with a 2.0l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Did this 2018 AUDI A6 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
