Question 1

What do water/flood 2017 AUDI A6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 14 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A6 with water/flood damage, the median was $4,800, from $3,100 to $6,400. That is 4% below the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,000 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

431 comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $7,700. At $6,000 this one went 20% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A6 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI A6's pre-damage retail value at $15,971. It sold for $6,000 — 62% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI A6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in LA - GREENWELL SPRINGS. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 130 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 87,308 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 93,969 miles across 431 sales, so at 87,308 miles this one sits 7% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What does a salvage title mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A6 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.
