Question 1

What does a salvage title mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 AUDI A6 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

How far is this AUDI A6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in WI - MCFARLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 850 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $550-$800, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 3

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 AUDI A6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 4

Is 127,968 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 100,662 miles across 701 sales, so at 127,968 miles this one sits 27% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

Did this 2016 AUDI A6 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with hail damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WAUFGAFC2GN001917?

Accepted Answer

WAUFGAFC2GN001917 identifies this specific 2016 AUDI A6 in black with a 3.0l 6 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
