Question 1

What does a salvage mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 AUDI A6 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

Is 89,594 miles high for a 2018 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 84,215 miles across 479 sales, so at 89,594 miles this one sits 6% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 3

Who sold this 2018 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was AAA INSURANCE. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 4

Did this 2018 AUDI A6 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with unknown damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

Can I buy this 2018 AUDI A6 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 AUDI A6 was listed at IAAI as lot 46234173 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WAUG3AFC3JN059686?

Accepted Answer

WAUG3AFC3JN059686 identifies this specific 2018 AUDI A6 in black with a 3.0l v-6 di, dohc, vvt, supercharger, 340hp engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
