Question 1

What do mechanical 2016 AUDI A6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 20 recorded sales of the 2016 AUDI A6 with mechanical damage, the median was $4,100, from $3,500 to $6,500. That is 8% below the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $7,375 a good price for this 2016 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

694 comparable 2016 AUDI A6 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,250 to $6,900. At $7,375 this one went 66% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2016 AUDI A6 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI A6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in GA - BELLEVILLE. The nearest major vehicle export port is Savannah, roughly 250 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$450, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 AUDI A6. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 101,077 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 100,802 miles across 694 sales, so at 101,077 miles this one sits 0% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
