Question 1

What do rear 2017 AUDI A6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 13 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A6 with rear damage, the median was $6,313, from $3,650 to $7,450. That is 26% above the $5,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,500 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

431 comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,000, spanning $3,350 to $7,700. At $6,500 this one went 30% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A6 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Is 80,349 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 94,099 miles across 431 sales, so at 80,349 miles this one sits 15% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

This AUDI A6 has rear and left side damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 6

How far is this AUDI A6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in UT - OGDEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 700 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $450-$675, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
