Question 1

What do rear 2018 AUDI A6 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 15 recorded sales of the 2018 AUDI A6 with rear damage, the median was $5,700, from $3,700 to $7,950. That is 2% above the $5,600 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,700 a good price for this 2018 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

460 comparable 2018 AUDI A6 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,600, spanning $3,550 to $8,800. At $3,700 this one went 34% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 AUDI A6 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI A6 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at IAAI in CA - FONTANA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Long Beach, roughly 200 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $250-$350, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

Is 97,862 miles high for a 2018 AUDI A6?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI A6 listings at auction averaged 84,064 miles across 460 sales, so at 97,862 miles this one sits 16% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This AUDI A6 has rear and mechanical damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
