Question 1

What do front end 2022 AUDI A5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 136 recorded sales of the 2022 AUDI A5 with front end damage, the median was $10,300, from $4,950 to $16,600. That is 5% below the $10,875 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This AUDI A5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

What does a salvage mean for this AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 AUDI A5 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

Who sold this 2022 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

The listing seller was ERIE INSURANCE GROUP. Seller type is a useful signal: insurers typically consign total-loss vehicles, rental and fleet operators consign on a cycle regardless of damage, and dealers consign trade-ins they do not want to retail. Each implies a different history behind the same damage label.

Question 6

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2022 AUDI A5 was listed at IAAI as lot 46210484 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
