Question 1

What do front end 2017 AUDI A5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 25 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A5 with front end damage, the median was $4,550, from $3,550 to $6,400. That is 2% above the $4,450 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,600 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

48 comparable 2017 AUDI A5 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,450, spanning $3,275 to $6,400. At $6,600 this one went 48% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

What does a clean title mean for this AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A5 was sold on a clean title. A clean title means no total-loss brand was recorded at the point of sale, which is unusual at salvage auctions and typically lifts the price.

Question 4

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI A5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 123,934 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A5 listings at auction averaged 70,552 miles across 48 sales, so at 123,934 miles this one sits 76% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

How far is this AUDI A5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.
