Question 1

Was $9,000 a good price for this 2022 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

296 comparable 2022 AUDI A5 listings sold at auction for a median of $10,800, spanning $5,300 to $17,650. At $9,000 this one went 17% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 AUDI A5's pre-damage retail value at $51,367. It sold for $9,000 — 82% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a non-repairable mean for this AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

This 2022 AUDI A5 was sold on a non-repairable. That is the most restrictive category: in most US states the vehicle cannot be retitled for road use and is intended for parts or export only. Import rules vary by country, so check locally before bidding.

Question 4

Is 9,378 miles high for a 2022 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 AUDI A5 listings at auction averaged 40,613 miles across 296 sales, so at 9,378 miles this one sits 77% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 5

What does "RUN AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUN AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2022 AUDI A5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Did this 2022 AUDI A5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with water/flood damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
