Question 1

What do front end 2016 AUDI A5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 41 recorded sales of the 2016 AUDI A5 with front end damage, the median was $3,825, from $3,150 to $5,100. That is 7% below the $4,100 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

This AUDI A5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI A5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in AL - EIGHT MILE. The nearest major vehicle export port is New Orleans, roughly 350 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $300-$425, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "ENHANCED" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED is the auction's own condition note for this 2016 AUDI A5. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 177,163 miles high for a 2016 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2016 AUDI A5 listings at auction averaged 72,961 miles across 120 sales, so at 177,163 miles this one sits 143% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

What can I find out from VIN WAUD2AFR2GA004222?

Accepted Answer

WAUD2AFR2GA004222 identifies this specific 2016 AUDI A5 in black with a 2.0l 4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.
