Question 1

Was $5,100 a good price for this 2013 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

11 comparable 2013 AUDI A5 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,075, spanning $4,025 to $6,200. At $5,100 this one went exactly at that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A5 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2013 AUDI A5's pre-damage retail value at $12,831. It sold for $5,100 — 60% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI A5 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - PHILADELPHIA. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2013 AUDI A5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 73,353 miles high for a 2013 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2013 AUDI A5 listings at auction averaged 79,580 miles across 11 sales, so at 73,353 miles this one sits 8% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2013 AUDI A5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with vandalism damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
