Question 1

What do front end 2019 AUDI A5 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 272 recorded sales of the 2019 AUDI A5 with front end damage, the median was $7,100, from $4,000 to $11,500. That is 10% below the $7,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $3,000 a good price for this 2019 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

589 comparable 2019 AUDI A5 listings sold at auction for a median of $7,900, spanning $4,150 to $12,500. At $3,000 this one went 62% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This AUDI A5 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

What does a salvage mean for this AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 AUDI A5 was sold on a salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

What does "NOT RUN" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

NOT RUN is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 AUDI A5. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 81,760 miles high for a 2019 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 AUDI A5 listings at auction averaged 68,781 miles across 589 sales, so at 81,760 miles this one sits 19% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
