Question 1

What does a salvage-british columbia mean for this AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 AUDI A5 was sold on a salvage-british columbia. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 2

This AUDI A5 has front and frame damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 3

Is 87,504 miles high for a 2018 AUDI A5?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI A5 listings at auction averaged 81,069 miles across 1013 sales, so at 87,504 miles this one sits 8% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 4

Did this 2018 AUDI A5 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with front damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.

Question 5

What can I find out from VIN WAUUNAF56JA004834?

Accepted Answer

WAUUNAF56JA004834 identifies this specific 2018 AUDI A5 in grey with a 2.0l i4 fi dohc 16v nf4 engine, all wheel drive. This page covers its auction history only. For ownership, servicing and reported accidents, run the VIN through Carfax, AutoCheck or NMVTIS — those records are separate from ours and we cannot change them.

Question 6

Can I buy this 2018 AUDI A5 from AutoBidCar?

Accepted Answer

No. AutoBidCar is an archive of past auction listings, not a seller — we have never owned this vehicle. This 2018 AUDI A5 was listed at IAAI as lot 40090132 and any sale happened there. We publish the record so buyers can research what comparable vehicles actually sold for.
