Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 24 recorded sales of the 2018 AUDI A4 with water/flood damage, the median was $4,650, from $3,350 to $6,500. That is 18% below the $5,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,900 a good price for this 2018 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

1221 comparable 2018 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,700, spanning $3,600 to $8,900. At $6,900 this one went 21% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $16,650. It sold for $6,900 — 59% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a salvage title mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2018 AUDI A4 was sold on a salvage title. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

How far is this AUDI A4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in CT - EAST GRANBY. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 120 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 80,944 miles high for a 2018 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 81,146 miles across 1221 sales, so at 80,944 miles this one sits 0% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
