Question 1

What do rear end 2017 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 233 recorded sales of the 2017 AUDI A4 with rear end damage, the median was $5,250, from $3,500 to $8,175. That is 6% above the $4,950 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $9,100 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

1745 comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,400 to $7,700. At $9,100 this one went 84% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $21,304. It sold for $9,100 — 57% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does a cert of title-salvage mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A4 was sold on a cert of title-salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 5

Is 43,208 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 92,072 miles across 1745 sales, so at 43,208 miles this one sits 53% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This AUDI A4 has rear end and damage history damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
