Question 1

Was $14,400 a good price for this 2019 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

842 comparable 2019 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $6,300, spanning $3,850 to $9,900. At $14,400 this one went 129% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

What does a cert of salvage > 75% damage mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2019 AUDI A4 was sold on a cert of salvage > 75% damage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 3

How far is this AUDI A4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in DC - WASHINGTON DC. The nearest major vehicle export port is Baltimore, roughly 40 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2019 AUDI A4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 17,656 miles high for a 2019 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2019 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 65,806 miles across 842 sales, so at 17,656 miles this one sits 73% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

Did this 2019 AUDI A4 come with keys?

Accepted Answer

Yes — this lot was listed with keys present, which usually means the vehicle could at least be started or moved at the yard. Combined with minor dent/scratches damage, that tells you more about its condition than the damage label alone.
