Question 1

What do water/flood 2018 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 23 recorded sales of the 2018 AUDI A4 with water/flood damage, the median was $5,025, from $3,700 to $6,900. That is 12% below the $5,700 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $8,000 a good price for this 2018 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

1207 comparable 2018 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,700, spanning $3,600 to $9,000. At $8,000 this one went 40% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $24,894. It sold for $8,000 — 68% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI A4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - LONG ISLAND. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

What does "ENHANCED VEHICLES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENHANCED VEHICLES is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 AUDI A4. It marks a lot the auction has given extra listing prominence, not a statement about condition. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 42,686 miles high for a 2018 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 81,062 miles across 1207 sales, so at 42,686 miles this one sits 47% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
