Question 1

What do side 2018 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 108 recorded sales of the 2018 AUDI A4 with side damage, the median was $6,300, from $3,650 to $9,200. That is 11% above the $5,675 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $6,700 a good price for this 2018 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

1229 comparable 2018 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $5,675, spanning $3,600 to $8,900. At $6,700 this one went 18% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2018 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $22,641. It sold for $6,700 — 70% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

This AUDI A4 has side and rear end damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "ENGINE START PROGRAM" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

ENGINE START PROGRAM is the auction's own condition note for this 2018 AUDI A4. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 79,614 miles high for a 2018 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2018 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 81,239 miles across 1229 sales, so at 79,614 miles this one sits 2% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
