Question 1

Was $4,350 a good price for this 2014 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

30 comparable 2014 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,888, spanning $4,150 to $6,900. At $4,350 this one went 11% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2014 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $14,818. It sold for $4,350 — 71% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a certificate of salvage mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2014 AUDI A4 was sold on a certificate of salvage. A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2014 AUDI A4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

How far is this AUDI A4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in PA - YORK HAVEN. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 150 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 6

Is 101,425 miles high for a 2014 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2014 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 75,985 miles across 30 sales, so at 101,425 miles this one sits 33% above that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
