Question 1

What do front end 2022 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 199 recorded sales of the 2022 AUDI A4 with front end damage, the median was $9,250, from $5,500 to $15,250. That is 7% below the $9,900 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $21,400 a good price for this 2022 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

347 comparable 2022 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $9,900, spanning $5,300 to $15,700. At $21,400 this one went 116% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

This AUDI A4 sold without keys — does that matter?

Accepted Answer

Yes, usually. A missing key means the vehicle often cannot be started or moved under its own power at the yard, so its condition is harder to verify and buyers bid more cautiously. Replacing a modern key and reprogramming it to the immobiliser typically runs into the hundreds. It is one of the more common reasons an otherwise sound car sells below its comparables.

Question 4

How far is this AUDI A4 from an export port?

Accepted Answer

The lot sat at COPART in NY - NEWBURGH. The nearest major vehicle export port is Newark, roughly 160 miles away. Moving a car that distance on an open carrier typically runs $200-$300, which is a real part of the landed cost and one reason identical cars fetch different bids depending on where they sit. Rates are indicative market figures rather than quotes, and rise with fuel prices and in winter.

Question 5

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2022 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $52,735. It sold for $21,400 — 59% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 6

Is 6,223 miles high for a 2022 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2022 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 42,669 miles across 347 sales, so at 6,223 miles this one sits 85% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
