Question 1

What do front end 2020 AUDI A4 models sell for?

Accepted Answer

Across 174 recorded sales of the 2020 AUDI A4 with front end damage, the median was $7,700, from $4,500 to $11,600. That is 4% below the $8,000 median for the model across every damage type, over the last 36 months. Estimates from past sales, not a valuation.

Question 2

Was $18,700 a good price for this 2020 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

362 comparable 2020 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $8,000, spanning $4,650 to $12,100. At $18,700 this one went 134% above that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 3

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2020 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $37,338. It sold for $18,700 — 50% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 4

What does "RUNS AND DRIVES" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

RUNS AND DRIVES is the auction's own condition note for this 2020 AUDI A4. It means the vehicle started and moved under its own power during a brief check at the yard. It is not a mechanical inspection and says nothing about how far it would drive. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 5

Is 39,136 miles high for a 2020 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2020 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 55,792 miles across 362 sales, so at 39,136 miles this one sits 30% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.

Question 6

This AUDI A4 has front end and minor dent/scratches damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.
