Question 1

Was $4,825 a good price for this 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

1745 comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings sold at auction for a median of $4,950, spanning $3,400 to $7,700. At $4,825 this one went 3% below that median. Auction prices reflect as-is condition, so the gap usually comes down to damage severity, mileage and whether the car runs.

Question 2

How much below its undamaged value did this AUDI A4 sell for?

Accepted Answer

The insurer put this 2017 AUDI A4's pre-damage retail value at $11,575. It sold for $4,825 — 58% below that. A gap this size is normal for auction vehicles: the buyer takes on the repair cost, the paperwork and the risk that damage is worse than the photos show.

Question 3

What does a salvage (alabama) mean for this AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

This 2017 AUDI A4 was sold on a salvage (alabama). A salvage title means an insurer declared the vehicle a total loss. Repairing it and passing a state inspection can convert it to a rebuilt title, which stays on the record permanently and affects resale value.

Question 4

This AUDI A4 has right side and damage — how does that affect it?

Accepted Answer

Damage recorded in two areas usually points to a heavier impact than either label suggests on its own, and it raises the odds of structural damage behind the panels. The auction records the primary and secondary areas only; it does not assess the frame. Photographs and, where available, a physical inspection are the only way to judge how far it goes.

Question 5

What does "Stationary" mean on this listing?

Accepted Answer

Stationary is the auction's own condition note for this 2017 AUDI A4. It is a short status flag applied by the auction, not the result of a mechanical inspection. Anything beyond that has to come from the photos and a physical inspection.

Question 6

Is 70,287 miles high for a 2017 AUDI A4?

Accepted Answer

Comparable 2017 AUDI A4 listings at auction averaged 92,072 miles across 1745 sales, so at 70,287 miles this one sits 24% below that. At salvage auctions mileage moves the price far less than damage does — a low-mileage car with structural damage will still sell under a higher-mileage clean one.
